Privacy Policy

Sell My Closet helps users scan garments, care tags, barcodes, and closet photos to estimate resale value.

Data We Process

When you choose to scan an item or import a photo and give explicit in-app AI sharing consent, the app sends the selected camera or photo-library image to Sell My Closet's first-party Cloudflare API. The API uses the image to identify the item and estimate resale value.

Images, video frames, extracted text, and scan context are treated as personal data. They are sent only after consent, only for item valuation, and only for app functionality such as identifying garments, tags, barcodes, and closet photos.

Sell My Closet does not sell your photos, use them for advertising tracking, or use them to train models.

Processors and Recipients

Purchases and Usage

Purchase status and subscription identifiers may be processed by Apple and RevenueCat after subscriptions are enabled. Scan counts and valuation activity may be used to enforce free scan limits and subscription entitlements.

Retention and Deletion

Images are used for valuation responses and are not retained longer than needed for app functionality, abuse prevention, debugging, or legal requirements.

Settings includes Delete my closet & scans for deleting local closet and scan data. Backend deletion is exposed through the first-party data deletion endpoint and is intended to stay aligned with this policy.
